Help us help you provide excellent service to your customer....
1. Ask your customer if there has been a recent death, divorce or any other situation that would have an affect on the title to the property. If so, please ask the client for a copy of the death certificate, divorce decree and provide that information to us as soon as possible.
2. If a power of attorney is to be used, we will need to review it as soon as possible, or we can have one prepared by our legal counsel.
3. Please make sure that all signing parties will be able to attend the closing. If not, please contact us so that we can make alternative arrangements to get the documents signed.
4. If an appraisal fee or other invoice is required to be paid on the closing instructions, please provide those invoices to us prior to the closing.
5. Make sure your customer has “good funds” for closing in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made payable to “Closings Unlimited”.
